As quickly as the stenographer can enter stenotype strokes, it is translated into English and sent to all connected devices. Viewing of the realtime transcript is available at the deposition location on reporter-provided tablets or counsel's personal laptop. Through a secure deposition-specific link, it can also be accessed remotely by other counsel or litigation team members. Realtime is an extremely useful tool for marking sections of testimony, searching for keywords, flagging testimony for inconsistencies, and allowing feedback in real time from case experts, all enabling counsel to focus on their examination instead of notetaking.
